Poetry performance with scenic poems by Hiroko Takahashi and Philipp Alexander Erbe. After the acting stage piece Emeel Academy shares a musical gift: the Emotiva Duo.
A heartfelt moment of voice and emotion – shared freely with the audience.

What is Emotiva-Duo?
What is Emotiva-Duo?
Emotiva is not a singing style. It is a song creation system.
Emotiva is rooted in the Playing State Philosophy and uses any sining style necessary and belongs to no single form. Contemporary, and classical techniques train the voice, but they do not define the system.
Emotiva was created in 2025 out of a refusal to perform songs without meaning. In Emotiva, words exist only if they serve the idea. If they do not, they are removed.
Emotiva is a playground for singes, not a factory - a space for co-creation, inquiry, and clarity. What matters is to question, to feel, and to translate ideas into vocal form.
At Emotiva-Duo, I (Emeel) help singers train with meaning and create vocal clarity, without copying other singers and without losing their voice, through the Playing State Philosophy.

🎤 What We Sing:
We perform well-known global songs - but in our own way.
We often keep the lyrics, but we change the melody, the emotion, and the energy to fit what we want to say.
Sometimes a sad song becomes joyful.
Sometimes a love song becomes a question.
It depends on what the idea behind the song means to us - and what we want to share with the audience.
1- We do not copy the original.
2- We communicate through it.
But: if the event or organizer prefers a more classical version - we can stay true to the original melody too.

If you qualify for a discount, the reduced amount becomes your donation.
All donations go directly towards IBDAW dance projects: video productions, theater shows, costumes, and dance event preparations.
