Life Race invites us to slow down, reflect, and rediscover what it truly means to live.
Life Race is a 4:43 -minute IBDAW dance film that reflects on the rhythm of modern life - from morning to night - where every day begins to feel like a race.
Through movement, it portrays daily habits and behaviours: washing, eating, driving, working, meeting, and repeating.
At its heart lies one essential question: Are you even living?
The film uses IBDAW, a dance system that transforms ideas into clear, meaningful movements - every motion expressing a word, an emotion, or a thought.

No More Wars is a 9:37-minute IBDAW dance film that shows the journey of a happy, united nation turning into a sad and isolated one. This is our way, as dancers, to stand for peace and humanity.
We hope to spread this message globally, so more people will stand for peace and civilizations.

IBDAW is not a dance style. It is a dance creation system - a stage between the abstract and the concrete.
Pronounced "Ibdaa", IBDAW is rooted in the Playing State Philosophy and uses any movement necessary and belongs to no single form. Contemporary, modern, and ballet techniques train the body, but they do not define the system.
IBDAW was created by Emeel Safie in 2012 out of a refusal to perform movement without meaning. In IBDAW, movement exists only if it serves the idea. If it does not, it is removed.
IBDAW is a playground for dancers, not a factory - a space for co-creation, inquiry, and clarity. What matters is to question, to feel, and to translate ideas into physical form.

Iβll guide the creative process-sharing a glimpse of my philosophy, teaching a few key elements, and directing both movement and filming.
In the end, you will receive a 1β5, or 5-10 minute film featuring your dancers.
